The train offers world class facilities along with the traditional ambience. The train has 14 coaches and has the capacity to carry around 82 passengers. There is one Super Deluxe Coach and the remaining are Deluxe Saloons. The super deluxe saloon provides the experience to enjoy the royal lifestyle. The suites have some of the finest silk bedspreads and elegant wooden furniture. They are spacious and include facilities like writing tables, ottoman and chairs. The deluxe saloons are also designed to give one the majestic feel. The designed is a fine mix of color and texture. The moving space within the coach and the accommodations is also enough to make it a comfortable journey. The train runs in the southern part of India. It offers an ideal way to explore the beauty of Karnataka before reaching to Goa. The accommodations of the train are decorated in accordance with the architectural style of Hoysala. The ceiling is intricately carved to recreate the magic of the royal style of living. It also has some of the best furnishing. The coaches have around 17 double beds cabins and 26 twin beds cabins. They are well equipped with facilities like Wi-Fi, writing desk, television, and wardrobe. There is also a cabin for the physically challenged.

The train has the capacity to accommodate around 42 travelers. The train offers itineraries like Classical India, Princely India, Celestial India and Royal India. Each of these covers various places in north, central and western India. The train has Deluxe Cabins, Suites, Junior Suites and Presidential Suite. All these cabins have temperature controls that would ensure one can set the temperature as per their preference. The cabins also have LCD television, internet, telephone and electronic safe. All the cabins have large windows for a panoramic view.
